Key technologies and equipment for intelligent packaging of automobile stamping parts

Triple Win Automotive Equipment Group’s “Key Technologies and Equipment for Intelligent Packaging of Automotive Stampings” is at the international leading level in the servo toothed synchronous belt automatic transmission technology for multi-belt support and positioning of automotive stampings.

On September 24, 2022, the Guangdong Mechanical Engineering Society organized and hosted a scientific and technological achievement appraisal meeting in Guangzhou for the “Key Technologies and Equipment for Intelligent Packaging of Automotive Stamping Parts” completed by Guangzhou Triple Win Automotive Equipment Group Co., Ltd.

The appraisal committee is composed of Academician Shan Zhongde, President of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, as the director, Professor Chen Xin of Guangdong University of Technology and Professor Ji Xuecheng of SINOMACH Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. as deputy directors, as well as well-known experts and professors from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, South China University of Technology, China Electric Power Research Institute Co., Ltd., Jinan Casting and Forging Research Institute, BYD Auto Industry Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Fengshen Automobile Co., Ltd. and other units.

Doublewin Automotive Equipment Group focuses on the intelligentization and unmanned operation of stamping workshops in automobile OEMs. It is a one-stop comprehensive service provider in the automotive industry that integrates non-standard equipment design and manufacturing; transformation, maintenance, installation, relocation and commissioning of large-scale automated stamping equipment, forging equipment and CNC machine tools; agency sales of domestic and foreign mechanical and electrical brand products. Provide customers with a complete set of overall solutions and implementation of unmanned intelligent stamping factories. The main users of the automatic packing system for all parts at the end of the stamping line include: Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co., Ltd., Dongfeng Nissan Automobile Co., Ltd., and Evergrande New Energy Automobile Shanghai Co., Ltd.; the company undertakes the design and transformation of presses, injection molding machines, mold changers and rapid mold change systems, and has produced more than 80 sets of mold changers and mold change systems since 2003; it has the only patent for soundproof walls for presses in China, designs and manufactures soundproof walls for stamping lines and soundproof covers for presses, and has produced more than 80 lines since 2006. The main customers include: GAC Honda, Guangzhou Fengshen, SAIC General Motors, Dongfeng Honda, Mazda Mexico, Nissan Mexico, Nissan Brazil, Nissan Russia, Honda USA, etc.; it undertakes overhaul services for stamping and forging presses, repair of large press beams, laser welding upgrades, main motor upgrades, press PLC upgrades, etc.; it has an 800-ton hydraulic gantry crane made in the United States, which has completed the hoisting of large gas turbines and generators many times, upgrading traditional coal-fired power generation to gas-fired power generation, reducing carbon dioxide emissions, and accelerating the green technology transformation of the power industry.

Chairman Zhang Sanyi of Doublewin Automotive Equipment Group attended the meeting and made a project report. The project aims to solve the industry problem that automobile stamping parts are of many varieties, complex shapes, poor transmission stability, and difficult to achieve large-scale fast-paced automated packaging. The project invented a servo toothed synchronous belt automatic transmission technology with multi-belt support positioning, which achieved the rapid transmission and precise positioning of irregular and multi-shaped stamping parts. The project developed the relative posture following adaptive technology based on the image reference and the visual precision following system, established the relationship model between the visual reference coordinate system and the moving workpiece coordinate system, and solved the problems of random posture of stamping parts and large deviation of packaging grasping. The project developed automatic sorting and automatic packaging of automobile stamping parts and intelligent packaging control systems, which solved the problems of automatic sorting of stamping parts, automatic classification packaging, and automatic switching of AGV material boxes, and realized the automated, flexible, and highly reliable packaging of automobile stamping parts.

Experts inspected the project site and found that the project had 19 authorized patents, including 4 invention patents (including 1 each from the United States, Japan and Mexico); and formulated 1 enterprise product standard. The products were tested by a third-party testing agency and the tested items met the relevant standard requirements. The project results were promoted and applied in Guangzhou Fengshen, Dongfeng Honda and other companies, with significant economic and social benefits.

The experts and project team members who attended the meeting took a group photo. The appraisal committee believes that the project results are highly innovative, have independent intellectual property rights, and the overall technology has reached the international advanced level. Among them, the servo toothed synchronous belt automatic transmission technology for multi-belt support and positioning of automotive stamping parts is at the international leading level.
